3 flashing blue light

You’ll notice that the unit keeps blinking blue lights that flash and flash constantly when you try to run it. If your unit gets full of waste, it will blink red as it warns you when the drawer in the unit is nearly full.

After you’ve cleaned the unit and re-installed the liner, hit the Reset button on your unit. The light should now be back to solid blue. If you’ve done that, the LED should change from being blue to a solid blue. If you have a unit that is connected to a network, hit the Reset button in the Whisker app and force a complete reset of the system.

3 flashing red light

Cats enter litter boxes when they are ready to use them; when they do that, the cat sensor in their litter box is activated.

The unit tells you when the unit will be cleaned; it tells you exactly when it will be cleaned; it tells you exactly how long it will take to finish cleaning the unit. It may take up to 15 minutes for the unit to be completely cleaned.

When the cat sensor on your unit starts to light up red, that means that the unit has been on continuously for more than 2 minutes because it has been detecting too much waste or because your cat has not yet left the unit.

It is possible that your cat may have escaped from the box and that you may not have enough litter or waste in the box. If the cat reaches a point on the black liners that line the inside of your litter box and places some food, he will no longer be able to use the unit. Instead, push the unit to the Reset button to start the system over.

3 blue and yellow lights on

If there are two small lights that appear at the top of your Litter Robot 3, it means that the unit has been turned off for 8 hours. If the unit is still in sleep mode, just press and hold the Cycle button for 5 seconds to deactivate sleep mode.
