Error Code: Hi.t

Error code Hi.t means there’s a problem with the device;s temperature. Metre that might be too hot. It is possible that the metre was too hot (above 104°f) to conduct a test.

What you need to do is pull out the device battery  and the strips of testing to a cooler area. Insert a strip when the reading temperature is between 50 to 104°F. If you do not get another Hi .t message, you can proceed with testing.

Metre too cold. Some people think metres are too cold (below 50°F) to test. When the weather gets colder, move the strips to a place that is warmer. Insert a new test strip when the reading on the metre and the test strips are in the range that will operate between 50 and 104°F.

When you still see the problem on your device, you can ask the technician for more help. You might have to change some parts with the new one.
