Xbox 360 Error Code 1 means that the AV cable is disconnected. If all 4 console LED lights turn red, the AV cable has been shorted. Xbox 360 Error Code 2 means there is a general hardware failure. If light 1, 3, and also 4 flash on the LED display, a hardware failure has been identified. It is possible that your hardware is failing. To try to fix this by restarting the Xbox 360 and try loading a new version of Windows onto the console. If that does nothing, switch the console off and try disconnecting all the cables that connect to the Xbox.
Afterwards, try turning the console back on. Firmly disconnect all cables and reconnect all connections and try again to start the console. If you still have problems with this, try removing the hard drive completely, disconnecting the power and all cables. If that does not fix the problem, disconnect the Xbox 360 hard drive and reinstall it. If no light is coming from the Xbox 360, turn it off and reconnect the cables and re-install the hard drive.
