If you try to use your remote controller to turn on your air conditioner, you will receive an error code CJ. This means that the device is not responding properly when you try to use it. This error code occurs when there is a problem with your device or the power supply that you are using.
Sometimes, common errors will cause your air conditioner to malfunction. Because air conditioning units use electric power, and sometimes dust can build up in the air that passes through them, the units are bound to malfunction. If you are experiencing an error message such as this, try the following possible solutions:
Cj is caused by abnormalities in the temperature sensor in the remote control. Find the On/Off button on your Daikin remote control. Hold it for about 2 seconds before you release it. Now, press and hold the On/Off button for about 2 seconds, then release the button. First, press the Off/On switch once, and this will shut down the unit. After this, press the On/Off switch again, and this will restart the unit. When the air conditioner is turned off, just press the On/Off switch again. This forces the device to restart.
If you want to turn your Daikin air conditioner on, just press the on/off switch on the remote that you use to turn it on. If this doesn't work, you can try to reset the remote by holding down the on/off button for two seconds and then pressing it again.
If your remote control has stopped working, you can try turning on your air conditioner manually by pressing the on/off button on the main unit. If this still doesn't work, you may have a problem with the power supply. Check that the circuit breaker is turned on in the electrical box where you live.
Occasionally you will notice that it smells bad after turning the unit on, this is probably caused by the ozone that is generated by the Streamer air purifying unit. This is normal. You should not be concerned about it.
