Their washer and dryer products are one of the most popular products that they offer. These appliances are available in different models and each model is known for having high-quality features. However, these products are not perfect and they can encounter errors. One of the common errors you can come across is the F24 error.
These codes let you know that an item has been replaced, added or removed from your system. This includes VFDs, relays, injection relays, and water valves. You’ll have to reset the controller by hard resetting the PCB controller board so that the control system can start working properly.
If you get the error code F24, it can also mean that the water temperature sensor on the washer is reading something that is outside its range. If you receive the F24 error code, unplug the washer from the power source and allow it to stand for at least 30 minutes to try to reset the control unit. Check that the wires connect the temperature sensor to the control board. You can access the temperature sensor on the tub by unplugging the washer and removing the back panel.
This error code can also be due to loose connection, which is why you should check all the connections and ensure that they are tight. Also, it can be due to sensor fault, which is a technical term for “wrong” readings on the temperature sensor. The water flow control valve has an additional inlet pipe attached at the back of it; if this connection becomes loose or damaged then there will be a short circuit and there will be a power outage until repair is done.
You can refer to the owner's manual for an accurate wiring diagram that you can then use to make any necessary adjustments. Make sure that the connections are tight and there is no possibility of water leaking out of the pipe. You can also clean any rust off of this area with mild soap and warm water so that it does not cause corrosion or blockage in your pipes.
Once you have ensured that all these things are done, then restart your washer and see if it works properly now. If you get an error code F24 when using your washer, check for a clogged drain hose at the bottom back corner where the tub connects to its drain system on the floor. Many things can get lodged in this area, so make sure that you check it for any obstructions.
