If you try to use an Electrolux home appliance, you may get an error code EF3 on your screen.
If this error occurs, you will need to perform a few troubleshooting steps to get the problem fixed.
Switch off the appliance and wait a few hours to allow the foam to cool before you try using the appliance again. Then, you can try to connect the appliance to another power cord or try calling customer service. If the water dispenser drawer or the sprinkler plate above the drawer is very dirty or is covered in limescale, the water may be able to leak out of the appliance and cause the problem. Clean the water dispenser drawer according to the instructions in your user manual and try to use the appliance again.
If your clothes are caught between the doors and the glass, this could cause the door to leak and allow water to run down the front and into the bottom tray. Disconnect the appliance from the water and power supplies and place a towel on the floor beside the washing machine to catch any drips of water that may be coming from the appliance. Tilt the washing machine forward so that the appliances are positioned where there is about 10 cm of clearance between the front of the appliance and the kick board on the other side of the door. Hold the appliance in place for about 30 to 40 seconds to allow water from the bottom tray to flow out onto the towel. Lower the appliance to the floor and then re-install the water supply.
