The Electrolux dishwasher is known for being a reliable dishwasher. However, sometimes you might encounter error code I41 on your dishwasher’s screen. This error can occur when there is an issue with your dishwasher. Though it may be minor, it would be a good idea to have it resolved soon to ensure your dishwasher doesn't experience any major damages.
To put it simply, the I41 code refers to an issue with the draining process of your dishwasher. If you have an I41 code, it means that the machine is not draining properly. The machine will continue to run, but it will not drain. In most cases, this is due to a broken part inside the dishwasher.
Fortunately, this problem comes with quite a simple solution. All you'd need to do is clean the drain tube and filter, then put the dishwasher back together. This will be the most effective way to resolve this issue. You can get to the drain filter by opening the door of the dishwasher tank, removing the basket on the bottom, then using a screwdriver to take out the filter.
Use a gentle soap to scrub out any debris and residue that may be present in the filter. Afterward, rinse the filter and drain tube with clean water. Then put everything back together, then test the dishwasher. A clogged filter would usually disrupt the water flow during the wash cycle. You can determine if this was the source of the error by redoing the dishwashing process after cleaning the filter.
If this still doesn't solve it, you can also take a look at the pump impeller. This is the part that controls the pressure of the water during the washing process. To do this, you can either disassemble the dishwasher and look for any debris or grime that may be clogging up the impeller. You can also take it to a certified technician to get it cleaned out.
