One of the most common errors is the IFB F8 error. This error occurs when you try to use your dishwasher and it won't start working properly or if it fails to work at all.
Overall, the F8 error is caused due to a faulty heater. Heating can get damaged due to a power outage or if the heater gets overheated. If your dishwasher won't start working properly, then you might encounter this error code on your device’s screen.
There are many problems with the heating circuit that may include problems with the thermostat or the control relay. If the heater circuit is not working correctly, do not start disassembling the dishwasher. It is very important that you adjust the water temperature in the area where the dishwasher is situated (this is less than 70°C). Please note that the water temperature should not be below 50°C, as if it is below that, the appliance will not be able to heat the water to the desired temperature and will display an error message.
Sometimes it seems that your hot water just does not get hot enough. Try switching off the dishwasher and look at the connections between the heating element and the water pressure switch. There may be other problems with the electrical wiring that goes to the control board. Check the connections to the heating element and pressure switch and the wiring that goes to the control board.
If you need to remove the electrical cable that runs through the dishwasher, you must remove the door panel. Many dishwashers are covered with an outer layer of thick insulation that becomes sticky and warm when heated.
When not taken care of properly, it can cause you to have broken wires when you open or close the door. Similarly, it breaks down if the dishwasher does not remove all the water that is in it before drying it. Usually, it is a result of a dirty or clogged sewage system, a pinched or blocked drain hose, a bad pump, and many other things.
If the water in the dishwasher gets too hot, check the heating relay. It is located on the PCB of your computer. This relay is located on the main board of your dishwasher, and therefore receives many currents. When a circuit is overloaded, the PCB will melt and cause it to be unusable. It is possible that the part that controls the thermostat will melt and that is why you will have to buy a new PCB.
