One of the most common issues that people experience with their Roomba is when the Roomba stops working and then it displays an error code of 19. The reason why this error code is so common is because it is caused by the sensors or battery. The message that you will see when you run into this error code is, “Failed to undock May have bumped something near Home Base®".
Charging error might also be the reason why your Roomba is displaying this error code. If you are having issues with the battery, make sure that you are charging it correctly. After charging for 240 minutes, the battery should be at least 80% or fully charged, but sometimes a timeout error occurs and the battery does not charge properly because it's trying to prevent drawing power from the charging cable too much.
To fix this issue, just make sure that you are charging the battery for 240 minutes and it is installed properly. The next thing that you can do is check the battery for cracks or any damages. Make sure that the battery is inserted properly and you have no damages to the battery. Check the power cord connections and make sure that they are clean and free of any debris. If you have a damaged power cord, you can replace it.
If you have checked all of these things and you still have the same issue, then you can try cleaning whatever the Roomba may have bumped into, especially near the Home Base®. Also, make sure that the lid is closed and that the vacuum is connected to the wall outlet.
