There are many errors that can occur when you try to use iRobot Roomba Error 42. This error occurs when you try to use the robot or when your robot shows a Roomba’s Path Error. This error can be annoying and frustrating because you cannot use the robot properly.
The problem can be caused by a battery issue, a problem with the motor or a problem with the sensor. You might also encounter this error if you have other devices that are interfering with the proper functioning of iRobot Roomba Error. To fix this error, you need to try a few solutions.
iRobot 42 Error occurs when the Roomba wanders around for 6 minutes before returning to the base. It usually occurs when the users pick up the Roomba from the base station to clean a certain area and put back the Roomba again to its base. The iRobot 42 error will not give a spoken message and it failed to re-localize when direct cleaning.
You can try to remove the Roomba and replace the base station. Then, you need to unplug the base station for around 10 to 20 seconds. Next, plug it back the base station to the right position.
