It can also occur when another application is interfering with the proper functioning of Kaspersky Antivirus on your computer. To fix this error, you need to try a few solutions.
It is possible that a wrongly specified or changed address of the Administration Server causes the Network Agent not to be able to connect to the Server. It is possible that the Network Agent will not be able to connect to the Server if the network service check does not return a transport level error while attempting to connect to the server. This will result in the return code of 0x502.
This is because when the Agent is launched on a client computer, it is not able to connect to the Server. To fix this issue, use the klmove utility to specify a new connection address, or simply reinstall the Agent. If a new server address is given to the agent installation package, or if the installation package specifies an incorrect address for the server. When a user has successfully connected to the Server from a specific computer, it is necessary to check whether the correct address is specified in the install package for the Agent on the Server.
It could be that the Administration Server is down. It could be that the server is configured incorrectly. It could be that the Server has a different version of the Agent. It is possible that there is an error while updating the Network Agent installation package to another location. If you have checked all these, then there are several other possibilities.
This problem may occur if the Computer's network settings are incorrect and do not allow access to certain ports or protocols on the computer. There are several other issues which might cause this error, including a firewall, proxy server or port configuration issue, problems with your Internet connection, as well as hardware issues related to computers with less than 1 GB of RAM and older operating systems such as Windows XP. In such cases, a firewall or proxy server may be configured to block access to the Agent.
