If you are having issues with your Miele product or if you encounter errors while using your home appliances, then you might encounter error code f13 on your device’s screen.
To fix this error, you need to try a few solutions.
Check the drain hose and drainage for blockage
Before doing anything else, you need to make sure that there is no blockage in the drain hose. A clot or build-up of grease, lint, hair, and other debris can cause this.
You can also try to remove the drain hose from your washing machine or sink if it is blocked as well.
Clean water inlet filter
You should check if there is any build-up of mineral deposits on your water inlet filter before proceeding with anything else. To do this, you need to remove the inlet filter and rinse it with warm water and mild detergent or dishwashing liquid.
Once you have done this, then you should replace it and let it dry for about an hour before putting it back in place.
Check for low supply flow pressure
If your dishwasher is leaking, then you should check the stopcock that is in the basement or laundry room. You can do this by unplugging the dishwasher and then turning off the primary water supply at the stopcock.
Then, try to turn on the water again. If there is still no water flowing, then you should check to see if there is a blockage in your main water line that can cause this problem.
Turn on the water supply at the stopcock
To do this, you need to make sure that your main water shutoff valve is turned off before proceeding with anything else.
You can do this by unplugging your kitchen sink or bathroom faucet from its electrical outlet and turning off the water flow at your main shutoff valve or master valve (depending on where it is located).
Rearrange items to stop obstruction
If your dishwasher is still not working properly, then you can try to rearrange the items inside your dishwasher. You can do this by removing the racks and other accessories that are blocking the water flow.
Once you have done this, then you should restart your dishwasher and check if it works properly again. If it is not, then you should unplug it and try to do this again.
