You may be experiencing errors while using your Mitsubishi product or you may be receiving an error code UF while you are using your home appliances. When something goes wrong with your device or your power supply, this error can occur. Sometimes errors on other devices or server problems can cause the error.
If this error occurs, try a few different solutions to fix it.
Error codes commonly seen on Mitsubishi Electric ducted systems are the UF, UP or U6 error codes. This fault code is caused by a fault with the Power PCB, Compressor electrical circuit or Compressor bearings.
UF means that the compressor may cause a short circuit when the compressor is not working properly. It is abnormal if an overcurrent is detected on a DC bus or a compressor within 30 seconds after the compressor starts operating.
So, check that there is enough voltage at the outside unit, such as 240v or 415v. If the power feed to the unit/building is not correct, contact a qualified electrician or SA Power Networks to rectify the power supply. Check that all valves outside the unit are fully open. If the outdoor service valves are shut, try opening the valves again.
Check for damage to the power supply PCB. This could be caused by an animal or a lizard that has damaged the external power supply power PCB. If damage is found replace Power PCB and then try to re-start the unit. Check whether there is visible damage to the Power PCB or the wiring connecting the power supply and the compressor. If you notice any damage to your power supply, replace the damaged power supply cable.
