Ad blockers are one of the biggest causes of crashes and sluggish performance. Most modern browsers come with an ad blocker built-in, but you can disable it if you are fine with ads. If you’re using an ad blocker, try disabling it and seeing if that makes a difference.
If ad blockers are important for you, choose a reputable one with proven compatibility with QuickBooks.
You can try permitting QuickBooks to access your computer through your firewall. You can do this by going to Settings > Apps > QuickBooks > Permissions and turning Allow on for "Always".
If you're still having trouble with QuickBooks accessing your computer, try adding it to your firewall exception list. Here's how:
