Verified solution

If you are having issues with your TCL product or if you encounter errors while using your home appliances, then you might encounter error code E4 on your device’s screen.

This error can occur when there is an issue with your device or it can occur when there is an issue with your power supply. Sometimes, common device errors or server problems can also cause this error.

To fix this error, you need to try a few solutions.

Option 1: Check for the faulty sensor.

If the power is on and you are still getting this error code, then it is likely that there is a faulty sensor. This sensor could be an infrared sensor or a motion sensor.

To check for a faulty sensor, you need to follow these steps:

  1. First, unplug your TCL device from the wall socket.
  2. Then press and hold the "Home" button on your remote control until the LED light starts blinking red (about 10 seconds). The LED light will turn off after about 5 seconds.
  3. Next, plug your TCL device back into the wall socket and wait for at least 5 minutes to let it reset completely.

If this does not work, then you will need to replace your TCL device's sensors. Sometimes, only one sensor is faulty. Meanwhile, in other cases, all of them are faulty.

Option 2: Switch to another electrical outlet.

If the power is on and you are still getting this error code, then it is likely that there is a faulty electrical outlet. This electrical outlet could be an electrical outlet or a light switch.

You can use an adapter to test the outlets by plugging your device into the adapter and then plugging it into the other outlet. Or, you can try to turn off the circuit breaker that powers this electrical outlet.

Option 3: Reset the circuit breaker.

If the power is on and you are still getting this error code, then it is likely that there is a faulty circuit breaker. A circuit breaker controls the power coming from your power supply to your home appliances. Try resetting the circuit breaker to solve this issue.

You will need to contact customer support if this issue continues even after you have tried all possible solutions.
