A possible cause of Error E9 is a faulty drive module. The other cause is a power supply failure. In this case, you need to change the power supply.
Check the drive modules for damaged pins or connections on both sides of the board. Check for any loose connections and clean with a fine-grit sandpaper. Clean any burnt parts on the board with a compressed air can.
If the power supply is faulty, then you need to replace it. To do this, remove all screws that hold the cover of the power supply and disconnect the power cord from the AC connector of the power supply. Take out the power supply by removing all screws that hold it in place. Now disconnect cables from the motherboard. Check and clean any dust that may be inside the power supply using compressed air.
Connect the multimeter between two pins on the drive module and one pin on the power supply to check for voltage drop. If there is voltage drop, replace the power supply. If the drive module is still not working, replace it with a new one. This is usually the cause of Error E9.
