Then, restart your device and the Windows Update Service. If you still encounter this error, try typing "net start msiserver" then press the Enter in elevated CMD. Then, restart your computer. This should solve the problem.

You can also try to update your operating system using a different way. You can use a USB flash drive or CD. You can also download the file and update your operating system manually.
