How to delete and reinstall Xbox games and apps

Are you currently experiencing problems playing your Xbox game or App? Follow the steps below to reinstall your Xbox game or app.

Step 1: Uninstall the Xbox game

1. Go to your Xbox home screen by pressing the Xbox button on your controller.
2. Go to My games and apps.
3. Select the game that you want to uninstall.
4. Press the Menu button on your controller and select Manage Game or Manage App.
5. Press the Menu button on your controller again and select Uninstall.

Step 2: Reinstall the Xbox game

After you've uninstalled the game, go back to My Games & Apps > Full Library > All Owned Games.

This is where you find every game you’ve purchased, even if you’ve uninstalled it from your Xbox.

Select the game that you want to reinstall and select Install.
