It is possible to buy products from Westinghouse through its website or through a number of other retailers all over the world. If you are having trouble using your Westinghouse product, then you might encounter error code e1 on your device's screen. This is very common. When a device is faulty or if there is a problem with your cable connection, error code E1 appears on your screen. Try these solutions to fix the problem.

If the E1 error code reminds you to change the air filter, turn off your air conditioner. Open the front panel of your air conditioner and clean the filter. If you want to clean the filter, simply wash it with soap and water and let it dry. Then, put a new filter in the unit. If you cannot clean all the dust and grease that it has collected, it's time to replace it.

Sometimes, an error code such as E1 means that one of the buttons on your device is stuck. If that happens, simply press the button that caused the error and try again. Click and hold on each of the three buttons that are connected to your device. If any of them are stuck, press all of them. If you see one that is stuck, unplug it. If that button is stuck, just press it and release it. The error should disappear.

Turn off your air conditioner completely and unplug it. Hold down the power button and keep pressing it until you are able to plug it back in. Hold down the power button while the fan runs briefly and then cycle off the unit. If you hear a beep, the device is responding to your commands. At this point, you can release the button. Turn off your air conditioner and unplug it. Then, plug it back in. It should now start working normally.

If you tried the above methods to fix the E1 error code on your two-part air conditioner, but you still couldn't solve the problem, it may be time to call a pro. E1 codes are typically related to a problem with a unit that is not able to communicate with the outside unit that controls the fan and condenser.

If you have this error code, try contacting the company's customer service to find out how to correct it. You will need to send the error code to the customer service department of the company that made the product. You can contact them by email or by calling them. They will help you figure out what to do to fix the error and will recommend another solution.
